Together, we bridge businesses, organizations and their communities.

Our Mission is Three-Fold

Award scholarships annually to selected students from area high schools. Students who intend to continue their education in business or business-related fields are especially invited to apply.

Be a fiscal sponsor for non-profits that have no 501c3 status. (We can do the same for businesses or individuals whose fundraising qualifies for tax-exemption.)

Administers economic development programs funded by other sources – for example: grants for the Core City Projects, neighborhood associates, transportation projects and “Save the parade” initiative.



Heidi Borella, MRCF President
AVP Branch Manager, Avidia Bank, Marlborough, MA
Heidi Borella, a lifelong resident of Hudson, MA, is a local businessperson working as the AVP Branch Manager at Avidia Bank Marlborough Office and the 2024-2025 Marlborough Rotary Club President. She is active in the community in many different ways, a board member of the AVRTH Business Tech Trade, CSF Dollars for Scholars, Chamber of Commerce School to Business Committee and as an Ambassador for the MetroWest Women’s Fund. Heidi finds joy in dedicating herself to building strong connections with the people in her community and bringing information, resources and knowledge to others. She, with her husband Carl and 4 children are die-hard Boston Red Sox and Bruins fans.
Deborah DeVries, MRCF Treasurer
Vice President of Business Development, St. Mary’s Credit Union
Deborah (Campbell) DeVries was born and raised in Marlborough, attended Marlborough schools, and is one of six kids to Mary and Jim Campbell. She has worked at local banks for 35 years and is currently Vice President of Business Development at St. Mary’s Credit Union, where she builds relationships with businesses and individuals in the community to help them achieve their banking goals. She has served on the Boards of the Boys and Girls Club of MetroWest, GMPI (now Thrive), and Marlborough Country Club, and is currently Ambassador for the Marlborough Regional Chamber of Commerce and Treasurer for The Marlborough Chamber Foundation. Deborah enjoys golfing and spending time with her husband David, family and friends.


Catherine Dressel, Secretary/Clerk
CEO, Broker/Owner, Licensed Agent with Dressel Insurance Group
Catherine Dressel has had a career in the financial services industry since 2015. While initially working for other firms, she recently opened her own insurance brokerage firm in 2025. As a member of the Marlborough Regional Chamber of Commerce since 2016, Catherine became the secretary for the Board of Directors and Executive Committee for the Marlborough Regional Chamber of Commerce in 2023. After relocating to Marlborough from Dartmouth, MA in 1996, Catherine began her journey towards her current career in 2015. When she’s not working or networking, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, completing puzzles, and painting.
Catherine Gregory Mogavero, CFRE
Founding Member of Marlborough Regional Community Foundation
Catherine Gregory Mogavero had a career in the nonprofit sector for over forty years. For many years, she was the Director of Alumni Affairs and Associate Director of Admissions for a college in Boston. Cathy then became the Director of Development for a private school. Later in her career she became the Executive Director of a preschool and after school educational enrichment programs. In 1999 Cathy became the Executive Vice President of the Marlborough Regional Chamber of Commerce. She is one of the founding members of the Marlborough Regional Community Foundation and was the Secretary of the Foundation for seven years.


Pam Berry
SVP - Compliance Officer at Main Street Bank
Pam Berry Is Senior Vice President-Compliance Officer at Main Street Bank, in Marlborough. She has worked in banking since 1990 and is the newest member to MRCF’s Board of Directors. Pam lives in Charlton and has two sons, both in college, her husband and three black rescue dogs Pam serves on the Advisory Board for the Angel Fund for ALS Research, is an active volunteer for the Dollar Scholar program for financial literacy, Tri-Valley Elder Services and several other non-profits. She also founded the Central MA fraud network in 2019, now over 120 members consisting of bankers and federal, state and local law enforcement. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, trying new recipes and cooking and loves the beach and any tropical location.
Jennifer Cardoso
Assistant Vice President/Market Manager, Avidia Bank, Northborough, MA
Jennifer Cardoso is Assistant Vice President/Market Manager at Avidia Bank’s Northborough Office, where she has worked since 2005, when it was Westborough Savings Bank. She is responsible for managing resources and staff, attaining sales goals, and delivering customer service in Northborough and surrounding towns. Her team has been with her for over 15 years. Jennifer grew up in Hingham, on Massachusetts’ South Shore. She lives in Bolton and has two teenage children and two black labs. Jennifer enjoys walking/hiking daily with her dogs, and pilates, yoga, and running. She is a morning person; her day starts at 4:00 AM!


Fred Brewitt
Retired from Brewitt & Domke
Fred Brewitt is retired from Brewitt & Domke, tax and business consulting firm located in Marlborough. Fred has been a tax preparer since 1976. He has been honored with awards including Enrolled Agent of the year and is a Graduate Fellow of the National Tax Practice Institute. Fred is past Chairman of the Marlborough Regional Chamber of Commerce and continued to serve on its board until 2018. Fred moved to Marlborough in 1996.
Michelle A. Mercier
President and CEO, Marlborough Regional Chamber of Commerce
Michelle A. Mercier is the CEO/President of the Marlborough Regional Chamber of Commerce. With over two decades of leadership experience in the corporate and nonprofit sectors, as well as eight years of entrepreneurship, she has a proven track record of driving organizational growth and community engagement. Michelle also holds a master’s degree in Non-Profit Management (arts focus) and is a recognized speaker on leadership and business.
